Anniversary Wine Blogging
The ginger haired yank & i just celebrated our 7th anniversary with a bottle that i won in a silent JDRF fund raiser at work. A worthy charitable contribution.
2006 Duckhorn Decoy:
Aroma: currant, stewed plum, smoke and vanilla
flavour: currant and tobacco. fairly dry and full body
broiled tofu with fennel tomato sauce on top of farfalle plus peas with a creamy walnut sauce
preparing butterscotch bread pudding with a vanilla rum cream saucewashed down with some Armagnac
Altogether a fine repast to accompany a happy event.
