What to buy with future gift cards
Decided to start creating my list of what i'll purchase next holiday season. Suggestions welcome.
- CAPRICE D'APRÈS L'ÉTUDE EN FORME DE VALSE DE SAINT-SAËNS Eugène Ysaÿe
- Chopin's nocturnes - Pires soloist
- Beethoven piano sonata #32
- Well Tempered Clavier #2
The first artist is unfamiliar to me, but caught the LA Philharmonic's performance on the radio a few weeks back & thoroughly enjoyed it.
Update (should be plenty of these):
- Midori's Motzart's simfonia concertante
- Motzart's Haydn String Quartets
- WTC should be #2 only - #1 just given to me

Hmm. I've given you recommendations for most of the Western classical music canon. After that you're dealing with various artists' interpretations.
You could always look at other forms: standards, country, blues, etc. What's your pleasure?
