overvloedige hersenspinsels
My co-blogger asked me to write about the translation of excessive thoughts to overvloedige hersenspinsels. I made up this translation partly because I think it is beautiful Dutch and also the translation happened in the week Marten Toonder died and hersenspinsels could be or is one the new Dutch words this grandmaster of comics and Dutch language could have or has created. I used to devour his comics and still am in love with his use and creativity of the Dutch language.
